Udhaar Ka Khata Kaise Sambhalein?

Ek seedha sawal. Is waqt aap ki dukaan mein kitna udhaar phansa hua hai? Theek theek adad… zyada tar log nahi bata sakte.

A simple question. Right now, how much credit is tied up in your shop? The exact figure — most people cannot say.

Aur masla yeh nahi ke udhaar diya. Masla yeh hai ke yaad nahi rehta. Aayein, yeh theek karte hain. Yeh dekhein — dashboard par Khata Due. Poori dukaan ka udhaar, ek adad mein.

And the problem isn't giving credit. The problem is not remembering it. Let's fix that. Look — Khata Due on the dashboard. The whole shop's credit, in one number.

Ab andar aatay hain. Gaahak wali list kholein. Har gaahak ke naam ke saamne uska balance likha hua hai. Kaapi palatne ki zaroorat nahi — sab ek hi jagah.

Now let's go deeper. Open the customer list. Every customer's balance is written next to their name. No flipping through a register — it's all in one place.

Kisi ek gaahak par jayein. Yahan poora khaata khul jata hai — kya kya le kar gaya, kis din, aur kitna wapas kiya. Gaahak kahe ke hisaab ghalat hai, to behes nahi karni. Yeh safha saamne rakh dein.

Open any one customer. Their whole ledger opens — what they took, on which day, and how much they've paid back. If a customer says the total is wrong, don't argue. Just show them this page.

Aur jab gaahak paisay de, to usi waqt yahan darj karein. Raqam likhi, tareekh khud lag gayi, balance khud kam ho jayega. Aap ko kuch jorna ghatana nahi parega.

And when a customer pays, record it right then. Enter the amount, the date fills itself in, the balance drops on its own. No adding or subtracting for you.

Aur yeh kaam ki cheez hai. Jin gaahakon ka udhaar purana ho gaya hai, woh dashboard par alag nazar aate hain. Kis ko yaad dilana hai, faisla aap ka — lekin naam saamne hona chahiye.

And this is the useful part. Customers whose credit has gone stale show separately on the dashboard. Who you chase is your decision — but the name should be in front of you.

Ek ghalti jo sab se hoti hai. Rush ke waqt gaahak maal le kar chala jata hai, aur kehte hain — shaam ko likh lenge. Shaam ko yaad nahi rehta. Usool yaad rakhein: udhaar usi waqt, counter par, gaahak ke naam ke saath.

The mistake everyone makes. In a rush the customer leaves with the goods and you think — I'll write it down this evening. By evening you've forgotten. Remember the rule: credit gets recorded then and there, at the counter, against the customer's name.

Phir nateeja yeh hai. Kul kitna udhaar bahar hai, kis ke paas hai, aur kitne din se hai — teenon jawab ek nazar mein. Yehi hisaab hai jo kaapi par kabhi poora nahi baithta.
