Windows users: you will see a security warning
When you run the installer, Windows shows “Windows protected your PC — Unknown publisher”. This is normal for a newly released app and does not mean anything is wrong with the file. Windows shows it because our Windows installer is not code-signed yet. We have started the process of obtaining a code signing certificate, and once it is issued this warning will stop appearing.
How to install:
- 1. Run the downloaded
SwiftKhata-POS-Setup-1.1.51.exe - 2. On the blue warning screen, click More info
- 3. Click Run anyway and continue the installation normally

Mac users: the first open is blocked
macOS shows “SwiftKhata POS cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer”. The app is signed with our Apple developer certificate, but it is not notarized yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the first time. It opens normally afterwards.
How to install:
- 1. Open the downloaded
.dmgand drag SwiftKhata POS into Applications - 2. In Applications, right-click the app and choose Open — do not double-click it the first time
- 3. Click Open in the dialog that appears. You only do this once

On an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) you can skip the warning entirely — SwiftKhata POS is on the Mac App Store, where Apple has already checked it. On an Intel Mac, the download above is the way in; the steps take a few seconds.

The desktop app needs an active trial or paid subscription — the free plan works on the web, not on desktop. Your first month is completely free.
