Windows users: you will see a security warning
When you run the installer, Windows shows “Windows protected your PC — Unknown publisher”. This is normal for a newly released app and does not mean anything is wrong with the file. Windows shows it because our Windows installer is not code-signed yet. We have started the process of obtaining a code signing certificate, and once it is issued this warning will stop appearing.
How to install:
- 1. Run the downloaded
SwiftKhata-POS-Setup-1.1.53.exe - 2. On the blue warning screen, click More info
- 3. Click Run anyway and continue the installation normally

The desktop app needs an active trial or paid subscription — the free plan works on the web, not on desktop. Your first month is completely free.

The web version works great, but the desktop app gives you a dedicated POS experience with barcode printing and auto updates.

The desktop app works on your live account data, so a sale made on the web or desktop shows up on the other straight away. The phone app syncs about every minute when it is online.

The desktop app has the same sections as the web version and signs in to the same account, so your staff can move between web and desktop with the same login.
Auto Updates
The app downloads updates in the background and installs them when you restart it. The Mac App Store version updates through the App Store.
