Doosri Dukaan Kaise Chalayein?

You've opened a second shop. Congratulations. And from that day the problem starts — which stock is where, and whose accounts reconcile against whose in the evening.

First step. Set both shops up as locations. One main branch, one new. Name them so your assistant recognises them too.

Ab sab se kaam ki baat. Stock mushtarka nahi hota. Har dukaan ka apna alag stock hai. Jo maal doosri branch mein para hai, woh pehli mein nahi gina jayega. Yehi asal farq hai.

Now the most useful part. Stock is not shared. Each shop has its own. Goods sitting in the second branch are not counted in the first. That's the real difference.

Maal ek dukaan se doosri bhejna hai? Transfer karein. Cheez chunein, tadaad likhein, aur kahan se kahan ja raha hai. Bhejne wali dukaan ka stock kam, lene wali ka zyada. Dono taraf khud ho jayega.

Sending goods from one shop to the other? Do a transfer. Pick the item, enter the quantity, and where it's going from and to. Stock falls at the sending shop and rises at the receiving one. Both sides, automatically.

Aur yeh ghalti mehngi parti hai. Larka doosri dukaan ka maal gaari mein daal kar le gaya, aur system mein transfer daala hi nahi. Ab dono dukaanon ka stock ghalat hai. Usool ek hi hai — maal gaari mein daalne se pehle transfer darj karein.

And this mistake is expensive. Your assistant loads stock into the van for the other shop and never records the transfer. Now both shops' stock is wrong. One rule — record the transfer before the goods go into the van.

Aur sale? Har bill apni dukaan ke saath jura hota hai. Kis branch ne kitna becha, aap ko wahan jana nahi parega, yahin se dikh jayega.
